This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by icitizen Corporation (“icitizen”) when you use our mobile application (“Application”), websites (each a “Site” and collectively, the “Sites”) and online services (collectively, the “Services”).

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, if we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites’ home pages or sending you an email notification). Any material changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon the earlier of thirty (30) calendar days following our dispatch of an email notice to you or thirty (30) calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on our Site. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of our Service. Please note that at all times you are responsible for updating your personal information to provide us with your most current email address. We use this anonymous data to analyze request and usages patterns so that we may enhance the content of our Services and improve Site and Application navigation, and to amplify the aggregated voice of all users of the Services through public-facing, de-identified views of the icitizen ecosystem regarding aggregated users’ views on civic topics of interest, legislation, representative performance and other critical issues facing the world.

Your Choices

Applications

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, doing so could affect the availability and functionality of the Site and Services.

Promotional Messages/Notifications/Alerts

icitizen may send promotional messages, push notifications or alerts to your device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your device.

We will periodically send you free newsletters and emails that directly promote the use of our Site and Services.
